Water Rights
In Colorado, water rights are an integral part of any land use development.
Water rights impact farming, residential, commercial, industrial and mining uses. All water development and/or impacts to water quantity and quality are affected by the Doctrine of Prior Appropriation, the principle of "first in time, first in right." LWS can assist with any type of new water right and/or defend existing rights from material injury due to others' actions. These services could include evaluation of material injury related to water quantity and/or quality issues, changes of use, exchanges, and augmentation plans.
